Dear Madam or Sir:
I have recently retired from American Airlines/US Airways after nearly 30 years. I have accumulated over 26,700 accident, violation or incident free hours. Of that, 25,000 hours is in turbine equipment. I have ATP Type Ratings in the Lockheed Jetstar (L1329), Boeing 757/767, Boeing 737, Airbus 320 family of aircraft. I am current in the Airbus 320. I also flew the Beechcraft King Air 200.
My qualifications are as follows:
-- Total Time: 26,723 hours
-- Total Turbo-prop Time: 1,085 hours
-- Turbine PIC Total Time: 6,951 hours
-- Turbine SIC Total Time: 17,274 hours
Before coming to the airlines, I was a Corporate Pilot (Part 91) and Charter Pilot (Part 135) for several large and small companies flying both domestic and international in a variety of aircraft. It was my first love. I understand the expectations that people who own a Corporate Jet expect from it's flight crew and look forward to exceeding those expectations.
I'm friendly, easy going but recognize the seriousness of what we do. I believe in building a team with my crew and support personal. There should be no room for inflated egos on the flight deck and CRM is an important tool for a safe and efficient flight. I appreciate the need to work together in a Flight Department and to also be a part of a happy team.
My First Class FAA Medical was renewed on June 9, 2016 with no restrictions. I am, a non-smoker or drinker, married and in good health. I don't do drugs so I have never failed a drug test. I have no criminal record. I have never had an accident, incident or violation in my 40 years of flying. I hold a US Passport with no restrictions and was an Federal Flight Deck Officer for 10 years and had extensive background checks and psychological tests along with special training to meet those qualifications.
I am also willing to relocate.
I look forward to continuing my flying career and hope you will find my qualifications meet with your needs.
William G. Glynn
