About Me

Flying has always been my passion I began flight training at the age of 16. I bring over 45+ years of professional aviation experience with over 27,000 hours of flight time. I’ve piloted the following aircraft: B-737-200, 300, 500, 700, and 800. B-727-100 and 200. DC-9, MD-82, 83, 87, and 88. HS-125-700 and 800. LR-25D. BE-1900. BE-200. BE-58P. BE-55. SD3-60. PA-23. PA-31-350. CE-525S. CE-402, 404, and 421. SR22T-G1000. A36.            

In April 1992, I was fortunate enough to begin a career with Southwest as a First Officer, and four years later I upgraded to Captain. I’ve reluctantly retiring May 2020. The choice to retire specifically from Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 121 aviation is not mine to make due to the age 65 rule. (14 CFR 121.383 (c.)) 

Throughout my tenure as a professional aviator I’ve operated with the highest level of safety incorporating  Threat and Error Management (TEM) and Risk and Resource Management (RRM) Philosophy daily. I’ve demonstrated astute situational awareness, attention to detail, the ability to remain calm under pressure, loyalty, and dependability.                    

I have experience in many aspects of FAR 121,135, and 91 operations. Some of my responsibilities included: flight instructing, fueling, flight planning, loading, catering, and arranging for our clients' flight and destination needs providing them a seamless transition upon arrival.                                                                                        

My diverse aviation background coupled with extensive flight experiences has afforded me a perspective of how all team members within a company must come together and function as one in order to maintain continued success. I’m confident that bringing my team player “can do” attitude and aviation experience to your company will allow me as an employee to contribute to your company's continue success.
