Description
Ensures that all pre-flight, flight and post-flight procedures conform to Federal Aviation Administration regulations, manufacturer requirements and DOTD guidelines. Aids in decision making with regard to weather conditions and other factors related to safe flying.
Serves as co-pilot or pilot in command while conducting crewed flights for the operations of statewide mapping, aerial photography and LiDAR scanning for unit of Location and Survey in order to maintain a current catalogue of images throughout the state; as well as for operations during passenger flights for DOTD, Governor's Office and other official uses...
