My name is Thomas Samuel Ellett. I go by the name Sam. I am 33 years old and I am married and have three sons, 3, 2 and 3 months. I have been piloting aircraft since I was 14 years old and aviation has always been a part of my life. I attended Delta State University in Cleveland, MS and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Commercial Aviation. I have owned my own business for a number of years and worked as a flight instructor and contract pilot on single engine and light twin and turbine aircraft. I have experience as an aerial applicator in agricultural aviation. I am a member of the 186th Air Refueling Wing, Mississippi Air National Guard in Meridian, MS. I am a traditional guardsman and pilot the KC-135 Stratotanker. I have been a member of the ANG since 2006 and have been an ANG pilot since 2014. In my current civilian career, I am a Captain and ground instructor on the Citation Bravo and Citation V, and an SIC on the Citation XLS+. I have always been a hard worker and dedicated to becoming an expert in my job. I get along well with most people and hardly meet a stranger.
