About Me

Retired Naval Officer, fighter pilot.  Flown and have been all over the world and I feel very fortunate to have done so while serving my country and as a civilian pilot.  Florida Gator!  I enjoy music, singing, racquetball, billiards, programming, learning, teaching, skiing, flying, wine, single malt scotch, Cajun food and traveling.  I own and built my own experimental aircraft, a Falco F.8L.  Work hard; play harder!  I continually strive to be the best I can be in all endeavors and have consistently been a top ranked student/employee my entire life.  You cannot hire a better pilot, or person, to manage and run your flight department.  Integrity is everything.  Safety is paramount.

Wind Air West, LLC
Director of Operations - Chief Pilot

Ran the company flight department supervising pilots, training, maintenance, record keeping, scheduling, flight planning, budgeting. Part 135 operations in a King Air 350 and Challenger 300. Was the main point of contact and worked closely with senior executives to find and purchase a mid-size jet providing detailed analysis of all aspects of operations, costs and maintenance, buying the best jet for the operation (Challenger 300), minimizing costs in all areas and getting the lowest price possible. Wrote all manuals required for Part 135 operations (RVSM, OPSPECS, MEL, International RVSM and Operations, SMS, etc.) and got the required approval for all operations with the local FSDO. I did the same thing for deciding where to base the jet, what maintenance facility to use, what maintenance contract to buy, what fuel services to use and what company to use for overseas operations assistance (Universal), all from beginning to fruition. I saved the company millions of dollars, not only in this endeavor, but during all operations, minimizing costs without affecting safety, at every turn. Interviewed and hired replacement pilots. Assisted the owners with other non-aviation duties as assigned.
