As Director of Maintenance (DOM), you are responsible for the oversight and management of maintenance schedules, service, and repair of all aircraft owned by or leased by Veterans United.
Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:
Manages maintenance schedules and phase/repair intervals for VU aircraft.
Complies with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). Ensures all maintenance and avionics updates are accomplished IAW technical data acceptable to the Federal Aviation Administration
Pre-flight, launch, recover, post-flight, debrief, repair (as req’d), defer (Minimum Equipment List—MEL), and ensure aircraft are cleaned prior to each flight. Details aircraft as required.
Serves as the 24/7 point of contact with flight crews for all maintenance items
Assist Chief Pilot in scheduling and dispatching aircraft
Establish and maintain maintenance logs, invoices & accounting records, Cescom/Williams FJ44 reporting , MEL revisions, and other records as req’d by the Chief Pilot and the FAA
Travel to broken aircraft and scheduled maintenance locations to coordinate and oversee the aircraft’s return to service
Maintains technical data, log entries and updates to all aircraft manuals and technical orders. Ensures compliance with all Service Bulletins (SBs) and Airworthiness Directives (ADs)
Establish aircraft handling procedures and monitor towing movements in/out of hangers
Perform other duties as assigned, excluding licensed activity.

Follows standardized precautions and comply with safety training
Ensure company policies and standard operating procedures are followed
